How to play Indian Solitaire

Indian Solitaire is a solitaire card game similar to Forty Thieves and Napoleon at St. Helena. Indian Solitaire is played with 2 decks, and begins with 40 cards being dealt into 10 piles of 4 cards each. The top two cards in each pile are dealt face up, and the bottom two cards in each pile are dealt face down. The top card in each pile may be moved, and can be used to build down a different pile, so long as the card being moved is not of the same suit as the top card in the pile it is being moved to. When all the cards above a card that is face down have been removed that card is turned face up. The foundations at the bottom of the game screen must be built up from Ace to King by suit.

When a player gets stuck he may click the deck on the right of the game screen to deal an additional card from the stock pile. The card is first deal to a temporary position to allow the player to inspect the card before moving it to the waste pile. Cards in the waste pile, or in the preview location may be moved to the piles or the foundation to help the player move through the game. When all the cards in a pile have been removed, the player may place any card in that location to start a new pile. The player wins when all 104 cards have been moved to the foundations.
